At the end of her video she mentioned about Pingdong being very beautiful. Is this strange coming from a mainlander who has seen the glitz and glamour of Shanghai and Beijing? No, it isn’t. That’s because, even though urban Taiwan doesn’t look as impressive as first tier cities on the mainland, you are unlikely to encounter the languid, impoverished precincts that you’ll not fail to see after just an hour’s drive out of the most glamourous on the mainland.
